It searches the model you type against esimgomobile's built-in device table of eSIM-capable families — iPhone XS/XR and newer, Galaxy S20 and newer, Pixel 3 and newer, plus select Motorola, Oppo, Xiaomi and Honor flagships.

No match doesn't mean no eSIM: carrier variants and regional models differ, so the tool always shows the manual fallback — dialing *#06# to reveal an EID number (eSIM hardware present), plus checking Settings for an "Add eSIM" option.

The EID is the serial number of your phone's eSIM chip. Dialing *#06# shows it alongside your IMEI — if an EID appears, the hardware is there. It's the most reliable compatibility test there is.
Do US iPhone 14 and newer have a SIM tray?
No — US iPhone 14, 15 and 16 models are eSIM-only with no physical SIM slot. They're fully eSIM-capable by definition.
My phone matches the table but the eSIM won't install — why?
