Remaining-data checks live in your account dashboard — sign in after getting a plan. This page will never show a demo balance: any number here would be fabricated.

What this tool does

The Data Balance tool will show a signed-in user exactly how much eSIM data remains — per profile, in MB and percent — pulled live from the supplier usage API through your esimgomobile account.

It lands together with its companion tools: My Active eSIMs (which profiles live on your account), Resend QR (lost your activation code? get it re-sent to your verified email), and Low-Data Alert (a scheduled check that warns you when remaining data drops below your threshold). All four need the same foundation: account auth plus the supplier usage API.

No demo balance is shown here — any number would be fabricated. Real remaining-data checks live in your account dashboard once you have a plan.

How it works
  1. 1
Roadmap: sign in to your esimgomobile account.
  2. 2
Open Data Balance — remaining MB and percent per eSIM profile, live from the supplier API.
  3. 3
Set a Low-Data Alert so you're warned before you run dry, not after.
Honest capability note

Planned for v2 — requires account auth (who's signed in) plus the supplier usage API via the backend. Both are on the roadmap. This tool will only ever show your own account's data, scoped to your login; supplier credentials never reach the client. We will not mock a balance screen with fake numbers.

Data Usage Estimator
Questions, answered

Before you ask.

Where do I check my data balance?
In your account dashboard — sign in after getting a plan. A balance screen on this page would have to invent numbers, and we don't do that.
How will low-data alerts work?
A scheduled backend check polls your remaining data and notifies you when it drops below the threshold you set (e.g. 500 MB). Set it once per profile; it watches quietly in the background.
I lost my eSIM QR code — what then?
The Resend QR tool re-sends your activation code to your verified account email after an order-ownership check. Until then, keep your original QR email safe.
Will I see per-profile or total balance?
Per profile: each eSIM plan shows remaining MB and percent separately, so a Japan plan and a Europe plan never get mixed up.

How Data Balance works

  1. Open the tool
    • No account needed — Data Balance runs right in your browser.
    • Everything happens on the page; nothing to install.
  2. Enter your details
    • Answer the few questions the tool asks — trip, destination, dates.
    • The tool validates as you type so mistakes get caught early.
  3. Get your answer
    • Results appear instantly, computed from your inputs.
    • Every result links onward to the next step — usually a plan or checkout.
  4. Act on it
    • Apply the result: pick a plan, install the eSIM, or save the guidance.
    • You can rerun the tool any time; your last inputs are remembered.

The pattern is always the same: tell the tool a little about your trip, and it does the research you'd otherwise do across ten tabs.

Tools are free and instant. They're the fastest way to turn a vague travel question into a concrete next step.

When to use Data Balance

  • Mid-trip: when you need to top up, switch plans, or check what's next.
  • At the airport: for last-minute answers when plans change.
  • After the trip: to review what you used and plan smarter next time.
  • While planning: before you book anything, so connectivity is priced into the trip.

Bookmark it — travel questions have a habit of returning at the worst moment.

Most travelers use Data Balance once while planning and once on the road. Both visits take under a minute.

Tips for best results

  • Screenshot your hotel address and booking confirmations — you'll want them with no signal.
  • Save your eSIM QR code somewhere safe (email it to yourself) in case you switch phones mid-trip.
  • Turn off auto-play on social apps before you fly; it quietly eats roaming data.
  • If a page won't load, toggle airplane mode for ten seconds — it forces a fresh network attach.
  • Buy and install your eSIM before departure — airport Wi-Fi is the worst place to set up connectivity.
  • Download offline maps for your destination — they save data and work in dead zones.

If a result surprises you, rerun with different inputs. Exploring the options is the point.

The tool is only as good as its inputs — a rough date range beats a perfect one you never enter.

What happens next

From here the path is short — pick a plan, check out through Amazon Pay, scan the QR code, and you're done.

Every tool result points somewhere useful: usually a plan that fits, sometimes a guide that goes deeper.

And if you'd rather talk it through, the Tele Agent answers the same questions conversationally, any time.

FAQ

Questions about Data Balance

Is my data shared?

Your inputs stay in your browser session. We don't sell tool usage data, and there's no ad tracker watching the form.

Does the tool cost anything?

No. Every tool on esimgomobile is free to use, as many times as you like.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes — every tool is built mobile-first, because that's where travel questions happen.

Do I need an account?

No — tools work for anonymous visitors. If you do have an account, your last inputs are remembered.

How accurate are the answers?

They're computed from your inputs against current plan and coverage data. Garbage in, garbage out — so the tool validates inputs as you type.

What happens after I get an answer?

Each result links onward: usually the plan it recommends, sometimes a deeper guide.
