We're hiring

Build the network before the world arrives.

esimgomobile is live: real plans, real customers, and the platform, the products and the team are still being built right now. Own real surface area, and ship the thing customers actually touch.

Why join now

Early means everything is yours to shape.

Real ownership

No layers, no handoffs. You own your domain end to end — architecture, shipping, and the consequences.

Remote-first

Async-friendly, working across time zones. We hire for output and judgment, not for desk time.

Long-term upside

We haven’t set up a formal equity plan yet — when we do, early team members will be first in line. Compensation details — salary, benefits, and any future equity — are discussed openly in interviews, not hidden behind a form.

Honest framing: we're a young company, so there is no mature on-call rotation, no giant platform team, and no hiding behind process. If you want a finished machine, we're not it yet. If you want to build one, read on.

Engineering

Telecom Integration Engineer

▾

You are the bridge between esimgomobile and the world's networks. You will integrate our wholesale eSIM data and voice/SMS suppliers, build the provisioning pipelines that turn an API call into a live eSIM profile, and make number issuance reliable across countries and carriers.

What you'll do

  • Integrate eSIM (SM-DP+/SM-SR) and voice/SMS wholesale APIs into our provisioning platform.
  • Build monitoring and failover across multiple network suppliers — two suppliers, zero single points of failure.
  • Own number inventory, porting flows and per-country regulatory requirements with the compliance team.
  • Debug live network issues with carriers: failed activations, SMS delivery, call routing.
  • Document every integration so the next engineer never starts from zero.

What you bring

  • Hands-on experience with telecom APIs — eSIM provisioning, voice/SMS wholesale, or CPaaS platforms (Twilio, Telnyx, Vonage or similar).
  • Strong backend engineering skills (we're API-first; language is less important than judgment).
  • Comfort reading carrier documentation and carrier error codes without flinching.
  • Calm under incident pressure; you write the postmortem before anyone asks.

Nice to have

  • GSMA eSIM specs (SGP.02/SGP.22), SIP/RTP internals, or numbering-plan regulatory experience.

Apply for this role

AI

Voice AI Engineer

▾

You build the brain and voice of Tele Agent — our AI receptionist that answers business calls 24/7. From real-time speech pipelines to conversation design, you own how the agent sounds, understands and acts.

What you'll do

  • Build and tune the real-time voice pipeline: speech-to-text, conversation brain, text-to-speech, and telephony integration.
  • Design conversation flows for answering, appointment booking, message taking and escalation to humans.
  • Drive latency down and naturalness up — every 100ms matters on a phone call.
  • Build evaluation harnesses: test calls, quality scoring, regression suites for conversation behavior.
  • Work with product on the Tele Agent dashboard: call history, transcripts, summaries, settings.

What you bring

  • Experience shipping voice AI or conversational AI to production — IVR, voice assistants, or real-time speech systems.
  • Fluency with modern speech models and LLM orchestration; opinions about where open weights beat vendor APIs.
  • Python or TypeScript at production level; comfort with WebRTC/SIP/RTP a plus.
  • You've listened to a robot voice say something wrong and felt personally offended.

Nice to have

  • Multilingual speech experience, telephony (Twilio Voice, Asterisk/FreeSWITCH), or on-device inference.

Apply for this role

Engineering

Frontend Engineer

▾

You build what customers see: the esimgomobile dashboard, checkout, eSIM installation flows and the Tele Agent console. Our bar is cinematic and fast — this site is the reference, and the product has to beat it.

What you'll do

  • Own the customer-facing web app: account, plans, numbers, billing, usage analytics.
  • Build the eSIM install and number-setup flows that have to work for non-technical travelers.
  • Keep the bar from this marketing site: motion, reveals, performance budgets, accessibility.
  • Work with backend on the API contracts the dashboard consumes (you'll help design them).
  • Instrument everything; fix what the metrics say is slow.

What you bring

  • Deep modern frontend craft: semantic HTML, CSS that does the heavy lifting, vanilla JS or a framework — we care about output.
  • A portfolio or shipped work that shows motion, polish and performance discipline.
  • Accessibility and responsive instincts; you test on a real phone.
  • You notice a 2px misalignment before the designer does.

Nice to have

  • WebGL/canvas work, i18n experience, or checkout/payment UI experience.

Apply for this role

Developer Relations

Developer Relations Engineer

▾

esimgomobile is API-first down to the SIM: REST API, SDKs, CLI and an MCP server for AI agents. You are the voice of that platform to developers — and the voice of developers back to us.

What you'll do

  • Own the developer experience: docs, quickstarts, SDKs, CLI and the MCP server for AI agents.
  • Build sample apps and reference integrations (including the Twilio migration toolkit).
  • Be present where developers are: forums, GitHub, hackathons, launch communities.
  • Turn developer feedback into API and docs improvements with engineering.
  • Create technical content that teaches: guides, videos, live builds.

What you bring

  • You've shipped code against telecom or communications APIs and can empathize with the developer on the other side.
  • Excellent technical writing and a public body of work (blog, talks, repos, videos — any mix).
  • Comfort live-coding and debugging in public.
  • You read API docs for fun and file issues when they're wrong.

Nice to have

  • AI-agent tooling experience (MCP, function calling), or a following in a developer community.

Apply for this role

Engineering

Platform / Backend Engineer

▾

You build the platform everything runs on: accounts, billing, provisioning orchestration, usage metering and the public API. If it's load-bearing, you probably built it.

What you'll do

  • Design and build core services: identity, billing/metering, eSIM and number provisioning orchestration.
  • Own the public REST API contract that the dashboard, SDKs, CLI and MCP server all consume.
  • Build for multi-supplier resilience: idempotent provisioning, retries, reconciliation.
  • Set the bar on security: auth, secrets handling, audit trails, least privilege.
  • Keep it boring in production: observability, runbooks, sane deploys.

What you bring

  • Production backend experience with distributed systems that handle money or regulated resources.
  • Strong API design instincts and opinions about versioning.
  • Postgres (or similar) fluency; you think in transactions.
  • You've been paged, and you made sure it happened less afterward.

Nice to have

  • Cloudflare Workers, payment integrations, or telecom/numbering domain experience.

Apply for this role

Content

Technical Writer

▾

Connectivity is confusing; our docs won't be. You own the docs site end to end — API references, eSIM installation guides, Tele Agent setup, migration guides — plus the long-form content that teaches the internet how mobile connectivity actually works.

What you'll do

  • Own docs.esimgomobile.com: information architecture, API reference, guides, troubleshooting.
  • Write the 40-article content library on eSIMs, roaming, numbering and voice AI — readable, copyable, learnable.
  • Pair with engineers on every feature: if it ships without docs, it didn't ship.
  • Maintain accuracy as the platform evolves; docs are code-reviewed here.
  • Set the voice: clear, honest, no marketing fluff in technical content.

What you bring

  • A portfolio of technical docs or long-form technical writing developers actually use.
  • You can read an API and write the guide its authors wish they'd written.
  • Telecom or networking literacy — or the demonstrated ability to learn a technical domain fast and write it correctly.
  • Ruthless clarity; you delete your own darlings.

Nice to have

  • Docs-as-code tooling, API reference generation, or multilingual content experience.

Apply for this role

Trust

Customer Trust & Compliance Specialist

▾

Real phone numbers are regulated in nearly every country we operate in. You make sure esimgomobile earns and keeps the trust of customers and regulators alike — from KYC operations to fraud prevention to the policies on this very site.

What you'll do

  • Own identity-verification (KYC) operations: vendor selection, review queues, edge cases, appeals.
  • Build fraud and abuse prevention for numbers and Tele Agent: spam, robocalling, account takeover.
  • Track per-country numbering regulations and keep our issuance compliant as we expand.
  • Own the trust surface: terms, privacy, refund policy updates as the product evolves.
  • Be the human behind support@esimgomobile.com for trust escalations.

What you bring

  • Experience in trust & safety, compliance, fraud prevention, or telecom regulatory work.
  • Judgment under ambiguity: you can write a policy and also handle the case it didn't anticipate.
  • Clear, empathetic written communication — including "no" said kindly and firmly.
  • Paranoia about abuse vectors, paired with respect for legitimate customers.

Nice to have

  • Numbering regulation (NANP, EU, APAC), KYC vendor operations, or telecom carrier compliance.

Apply for this role

How to apply

No portals. No black holes.

  1. Email support@esimgomobile.com with the role title in the subject line.
  2. Attach your CV, or link your profile / portfolio / GitHub — whatever shows your work best.
  3. Add a short note (a few sentences is fine): why this role, why now, and one thing you've built or handled that you're proud of.

A human reads every application and replies to every applicant. If a role isn't listed but you're convinced you belong here, send the same email with the subject "General application" and make the case.

Careers: the full picture

Everything on this page exists to answer one question well: how does esimgomobile fit into your trip? The sections below go deep so you never need a second tab.

The long version is the rest of this page — plans, mechanics, edge cases and honest trade-offs, written the way we'd explain it to a friend.

The short version: prepaid travel eSIMs across 195 destinations, installed by QR code in two minutes, managed from a dashboard, with an AI agent on call when you need a human-style answer fast.

Explainer

How it works, step by step

  1. Choose data that fits the trip
    • Short city break? 5 GB. Two weeks with maps and video calls? 20 GB. Working remotely or hotspotting? 50 GB or Unlimited.
    • Every plan shows exactly what you get — no asterisks.
  2. Install in two minutes
    • Buy, scan the QR code, done. The whole thing happens on your phone, wherever you are.
    • Install days before you fly or minutes before boarding — your call.
  3. Switch on and go
    • Enable the eSIM line in settings when you arrive. It connects to the fastest local partner network on its own.
    • Your home number keeps working for calls and texts on your physical SIM if you keep it active.

Explainer

Good to know

  • Turn off auto-play on social apps before you fly; it quietly eats roaming data.
  • WhatsApp, iMessage and FaceTime keep your existing number on a data eSIM — no need to tell anyone a new number.
  • Check that your phone is carrier-unlocked before you buy any eSIM — locked phones can't add one.
  • Download offline maps for your destination — they save data and work in dead zones.
  • Hotspot sparingly: one laptop tethered all day can burn through a week of phone data.
  • Buy and install your eSIM before departure — airport Wi-Fi is the worst place to set up connectivity.

These are the details that separate a smooth trip from a stressful one — small, unglamorous, and worth more than any feature list.

Explainer

Why travelers switch

And because everything is prepaid through Amazon Pay, the commercial relationship is simple: you pay for data, you get data, it ends when it ends.

The Tele Agent closes the remaining gap: a question at midnight in a foreign terminal gets an answer in seconds, not a support ticket.

Roaming bills taught a generation to fear their phones abroad. The eSIM generation simply never learned that fear — data is prepaid, visible and finite.

The data room

Afghanistan, visualized.
